Jennifer O’Brien is a Personal Insolvency Advice Manager at Grant Thornton Debt Solutions. She has completed the Personal Insolvency Practitioner certificate course run by City Colleges, is a Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA), and graduated from the University of Limerick in 1998 with a degree in Insurance and European Studies.
For a number of years, as a Financial Advisor, Jennifer advised people on pensions, life cover and mortgages. She now applies her financial advice experience and skills to help debtors.
Jennifer’s advice to debtors is to take the step and get back in control by asking the right people for help. It can be daunting, but the personal insolvency system returns you to solvency and deals with all of your creditors at once. It enables you to draw a line under your debt problems and move on with your life.
