So, who are we?

The Grant Thornton Debt Solutions team is made up of a number of debt executives, advice managers and case managers led by Personal Insolvency Advice Managers Sara Garland and Jennifer O’Brien.

Throughout her professional career, Sara has attained a number of qualifications relating to the finance and debt industry including a degree in law. Sara is currently studying to be a Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA). Sara’s advice to anyone who is struggling financially is to seek advice as soon as possible as there is a suite of options available to tackle debt under the Personal Insolvency (Amendment) Act 2015 and the Personal Insolvency Act 2012.

Jennifer has completed the Personal Insolvency Practitioner certificate course run by City Colleges and is also a Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA). Jennifer’s advice to debtors is to take the step and get back control by asking the right people for help. While it can be daunting, the personal insolvency system helps you return to solvency and deals with all of your creditors at once.
